How the edit
comes together.
Clear sources. Useful limits. A small catalogue that says what it does — and does not — know.
Selection
Retailers were selected as research starting points because their official pages contained relevant adult, kids’, baby or coordinating one-piece categories at review. This is not a comprehensive market survey, a quality endorsement or a verified list of manufacturers in Canada.
Matching, without the mystery
The finder filters on the selected audience and garment type. It then orders results by the selected purpose where that purpose appears in the editorial record. There is no hidden personal score, medical screening, AI inference about a child, or guarantee of fit. The same inputs produce the same results.
Comparisons
Comparison rows describe collection destinations, audience, focus, source-review date and the questions to check. They are not lab tests or product-to-product performance comparisons. “Not verified” means precisely that; it is not a negative finding about the retailer.
Commercial independence
Any affiliate link must be explicitly configured and verified before it is used. Commercial links are labelled near the click, and an overall disclosure accompanies shopping content. Source-reference links remain untagged. A retailer’s presence does not imply a commercial relationship.
Updates and corrections
Source review is a dated research snapshot, not live availability monitoring. The build includes a link-check script, but no scheduled job has been installed. Broken links or outdated records need editorial review; the system must not silently replace a source or mark it freshly reviewed without reading it.
Illustrations and content
Garment illustrations are original SVG artwork and do not reproduce product photography. Written guides are original editorial checklists. We do not present AI-generated or illustrative garments as actual stock, and we do not copy customer testimonials.
