Start with the same basket

Compare the same quantity and garment type where possible. Record the unit price in Canadian dollars and check whether you are comparing a single item with a multipack. Different pack sizes can make an apparent bargain difficult to interpret. Use the exact selected variant rather than a starting-price headline.

Enter costs from the retailer

Add shipping and any tax or duty amounts shown for your actual destination. The calculator does not look up tax rates, exchange rates or customs charges. If an amount is unknown, the displayed result is incomplete until you obtain and enter it. Treat it as a planning subtotal, not a promised checkout total.

Use only discounts that apply

Record the discount amount that applies to your selected order, not the largest percentage mentioned on the website. If a promotion requires another purchase, that extra purchase belongs in your comparison too. A coupon can expire or be ineligible for a particular item; the retailer’s checkout decides whether it applies.

Keep the result in perspective

The tool calculates quantity times unit price, minus the entered discount, plus the entered shipping, taxes and duties. It does not price returns, exchange inconvenience or an item that goes unused. Keep the retailer’s actual checkout total as the authority and revisit the estimate when any input changes.
